High Court Stays Demolition Of Kangana Ranaut office

It is learned that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) staff has started a program to demolish the office of Bollywood heroine Kangana Ranaut. BMC officials say Kangana illegally made changes at the Bandra bungalow in Mumbai against the rules. He said that part of this was demolishing those illegal structures. BMC officials said notices have already been issued to Kangana in this regard. However, Kangana filed a petition in the High Court challenging the decision to demolish her office. While the petition is scheduled to come up for hearing this afternoon, it is noteworthy that the BMC officials have already started the demolition process. However, Kangana supporters claim that the Maharashtra government deliberately sided with Kangana Ranaut and demolished Manikarnika's office.

In the wake of this, the Bombay High Court issued a stay on the demolition of the Kangana Ranaut office in Mumbai. Mumbai Municipal Corporation has directed the authorities to respond to the petition filed by Kangana to stop the demolition. It is also learned that the court questioned the corporation officials on how Kangana entered the office without permission. The affidavit was filed accordingly. Kangana Ranaut's petition will be heard tomorrow. Kangana Ranaut's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui said the court order had temporarily restrained him.
