The first look of Pulkit Samrat from the film 'Hathi Mere Saathi' has been revealed.  Apart from Pulkit, Rana Daggubati is in the lead role in this film.  In the poster seen, Pulkit is seen standing in the forest in a simple look.  He is wearing a shirt over which is padded, a black garland around his neck and earrings in his ears.  He also has something resembling an iron rod in his hand.  An elephant is seen standing right behind them.  Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film is releasing on 24 April 2020.

Pulkit will play the role of a person named Shankar, who in the film is a man belonging to a forest-dwelling tribe who has dedicated his life to the forest and the animals living in the forest.  He accompanies Rana Daggubati to Banadeva in his struggle.  The story of 'Hathi Mere Sathi' is inspired by the incident of human encroachment of elephant habitats in Kaziranga, Assam.  This story is about a fight between tribals and officials over control of the forest.  Pulkit's character Shankar and Rana's character Banadev make every effort to protect the animals.  Pulkit is seen in the film Rana stepping in with Daggubati.  Along with this, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain are also in important roles.

Significantly, this is the first time Pulkit is going to be seen in such a character.  His image in the industry is that of a chocolate boy who is often known for playing the charming character.  He was last seen in the Anees Bazmee-directed film Pagalpanti.  After 'Elephant Mere Saathi', Pulkit will be seen in Bijoy Nambiar's 'Taish'
